This would be a poem about the nighttime. Most of us, students, tend to become nocturnal people as we tackle our way through high school. I wrote this in order to show appreciation for the evening. This is the time of productivity, stress, fun and joy for many of us. The nighttime may dark so let us use this as a chance to shine like the stars up in the heavens!

Carpe Noctem
"Seize the Night"
As the Sun sets, the Sky creates this vivid orange scene.
The world’s aesthetic, replicating one of a movie screen,
Dazzles and enchants to what meets more than the eye,
Evoking some emotion I can’t explain why.
The Sun goes down as the Night begins to awaken.
It gracefully appears to us, as the daytime is taken
Away as the noteworthy noble Nighttime takes place
Revealing its delicate darkness, displayed across the Sky’s place.
The Sun leaves as the Moon and Stars commence their glorious arise
A majestic sunset, making way that Night can be visualized.
A cloak of bold, beautiful black, embezzled with countless gemstones
Embraces the Earth, as it hums a hypnotic nocturnal tone.
Daytime soon leaves our presence, allowing a divine celestial essence
To reveal itself, as we praise its remarkable easing existence.
While we journey through the midst of this tender twinkling twilight
Ad Astra Per Aspera. Radiate beams of shining light.
