We can all agree how the start of this year was hectic. From the beginning we started off with the threats of World War 3, then the virus, and the protests. Through all of this we feel like 2020 should just be cancelled. What if we think about it as a year where we see the world clearly, the problems and injustice we have been dealing with for years, and yearn for a change.
Persevere And Prevail is an organization that had started for people who want to see a change for themselves, for the country, or for the entire world. It's a Vi$ion you see for the future. At a time like this, maybe it's time for the people of our generation to be the change we want to see. Persevere and Prevail is working to do just that, to unite all of us because we are in charge. In this country the citizens are who have power over the government. In the 15th Amendment it states, the right for anyone regardless of their color, and 19th regardless of their gender, we choose our leaders who will listen to us. It's time we get our powers back. You don't have to support the organization, you just have to use your voice and speak out. The strongest weapon we have is our voice and many are staying quiet. This organization is helping people from all over the country to use their voices, in order to fight for a cause that has been ignored far to long. 2020 is a challenging year because it is full of changes, changes in which we finally take matters into our own hands.
Racism is the biggest issue in our country. Every single person in this country is related to immigrants or is an immigrant themselves. People of color are being targeted in one way or the other and it has been happening for years. "The World Isn't Getting Worse, We Just Have Social Media To Show The Truth". It's time we start talking about this and take action. Anyone who's staying quiet is part of the problem. Let's work to make our Vi$ion Live.
